Indonesia is a country located in the southeastern part of Asia and is formed by 13,667 islands (6,000 of them inhabited). It is located between the Peninsula of the Asiatic Southeast and Australia, among the Indic and Pacific Oceans. Indonesia shares one of its islands with Malaysia, Borneo, Papua New Guinea, and Timor.
The climate of this country is varied, tropical, hot humid and mild in the highlands. It has a population of 241,973,879 people who are divided in several racial groups as the Javanese, Sundanese, Madurese, Coastal Malaysians and others. The official religion of the country is the Muslim, which is practiced by 88 % of its habitants, 5 % believe in the Roman Catholic Faith and the rest of the people (4 %) is divided in Hindus, Buddhists and others. in Indonesia, there are a lot of languages; however, the official is the Bahasa Indonesia which is a modification of the Malay; nevertheless, the most spoken language is the Javanese and others such like English and Dutch.
About the culture of Indonesia, it has been influenced by many other cultures; for example, the famous Javanese and Balinese dances are composed by Hindu culture and mythology. Indonesia offers several attractions to their visitors, for example the Buddhists temples. Indonesia is a real paradise that deserves to be explored.
