China: Can You Jump the Great Wall?
China is the biggest country of the Asiatic continent, it is located in the eastern part of Asia bordering to the east with the China Sea, the Korea Bay, the Yellow Sea and the South China Sea, among North Korea and Vietnam. About the climate in China, it is very varied depending of the region where you want or need to go, you can find differences of 40 degrees centigrade among north and south.
The population of China is of approximately 1,306,313,812 people and is divided in several ethnic groups; however, the major is the Han Chinese (91.9 %), and the rest is distributed in Zhuang, Uygur, Hui, Tibetans, Miao, Yi, Mongol, Manchu, Korean and Buyi. There are several religions: Christian 4 %, Muslim 2 % but the official is the atheist. The official language is the Mandarin (Putonghua), but others like the Cantonese, Taiwanese and dialects of minor groups are used too.
The capital of this country is Beijing and it has 23 more provinces, some of them are: Fujian, Gansu, Qinghai, Shandong and others. It is important for you to know that there are 5 autonomous regions in China which are: Xizang (Tibet), Ningxia, Xizang, Nei Mongol and Guangxi.
A curious note about China is the family names. There are more than 5,000 names that have been used for more than 5,000 years. Some common family names are: Li, Wang, Liu, Chen and others.
One of the biggest attractions of the world is in China, it is the Great Wall, but visitors who go to China do it especially to learn about the exquisite culture, folklore and history of this country. Do not think it twice and visit China, you will enjoy it and never forget it.
