Udaipur in Tripura

India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. Udaipur is a town and a nagar panchayat in the Indian state of Tripura. This city is famous for the Tripura Sundari temple. It is also the head-quarters of South Tripura district. Udaipur is about 55 kilometers from Agartala, the capital of Tripura. It has an average elevation of 22 metres. Udaipur had a population of 21,751.

Udaipur is dotted with temples the most famous of which is the Tripura Sundari temple, which is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. The temple was constructed by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya Debbarma in 1501. There is a big lake beside the temple known as Kalyan Sagar. Bhubaneshwari Temple is another famous temple here.

Udaipur is 55 kilometers away from Agartala in the Head Quarters of south Tripura district. Earlier it was known as Rangamati and Radha Kishorepur. Most of Famous temples of Tripura is constructed at Udaipur. The famous temples are Tripura Sundri temple and Bhubaneswari temple.

Udaipur is also known as the city of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
