Kawaguchi

Kawaguchi is a municipality located in Saitama, Japan. The city was founded on April 1, 1933. In 2006, the population of the city was 495,639 and an area of 55.75 square kilometers. The area of Nishi Kawaguchi, particularly the area west of Nishi Kawaguchi Station, is famous as a red light district. A little league team from this city played in the 2006 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
