Amagasaki
Japan is an island country in East Asia. Amagasaki is a city located in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 1, 1916. The city area is 49.77 square kilometers. The population as of August 1, 2005 was 460,091. The density of the city is 244 per square kilometers. A commuter train derailed on the JR Fukuchiyama Line near Amagasaki Station on April 25, 2005, resulting in more than 100 dead and 460 injured.
