Farrukhabad
India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. India is a union of twenty-eight states and seven federally-governed union territories. New Delhi is the capital of India. Farrukhabad one of three tehsils in the Farrukhabad District of the State of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. The other two tehsils are Fatehgarh and Amritpur. The city was founded in 1714 by Mohammad Khan. Farrukhabad district is a district of Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. The town of Fatehgarh is the district headquarters. The district is part of Kanpur Division. The district is bounded by Badaun and Shahjahanpur on the north, Hardoi District on the east, Kannauj District on the south, and Etah and Mainpuri districts on the west the Ganga River and Ramganga River are located to the east and the Kali Nadi River to the south. Uttar Pradesh, also popularly known by its abbreviation U.P, is the most populous and fifth largest state in the Union of India.
