Dombivli
India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. India is a union of twenty-eight states and seven federally-governed union territories. New Delhi is the capital of India. Dombivli or Dombivali is a city in India with a population of about 1,500,000 inhabitants. It is the first fully literate town in Maharashtra and the second in India. Dombivli is a small middle class town with a majority population of Hindus. It is located about fifty kilometres from Mumbai. The name Dombivli is believed to have come from a tribal group who lived nearby, named the dombs. Dombivli is home to eight colleges and a student population of 20,000 inhabitants. It boasts many high rank holders every year in the Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate exams. There are temples for all faiths, Jamatkhana for the Khoja Muslims, and also a few churches.
It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
