Jaunpur
India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. Jaunpur is a city in Jaunpur District in Uttar Pradesh state of India. At the time of the 2001 census, Jaunpur district had a population of 3,911,678 inhabitants, with Jaunpur city itself having a population of 168,851 people. The two major educational institutions in Jaunpur are Purvanchal University, located approximately 10 kilometers outside the city, and Tilak Dhari College on the south bank of the Gomti. There famous things include Temple of lord Shiva in Trilochan Mahadeva at Trilochan, Temple of Mihar Devi.
